Right now the Aussie dollar is trading at 1.44 AUD to 1 USD. We saw a high of 1.53 only 7 days ago, making our trip plans to Australia this X-mas even more enticing! As our economy here in the states performs worse and the DOW weakens, the AUD drops even more … soooo I might be one of the few praying the a worsening economic situation here in the U.S., at least until oh, Feb 2009?
