Solving the population problem

Posted July 10th, 2008 in general by justus

The world’s population grows and grows each day, some day we will have too many people on this planet. I believe that first, we’ll have a freshwater shortage followed eventually by a food shortage.

So how do we tackle the big issue here?

The Water Issue

Problem:
We will all run out of water if the population keeps growing at the current pace. Freshwater that is!

Solution:
Desalination Technology.

More Problems:
Desalination consumes enormous amounts of energy to produce freshwater.

More Solutions:
Nuclear Power.

More Problems:
Ok so we have excess clean power, what do we do with all of this radioactive waste?

More Solutions:
Yucca Mountain.

So what’s all the fuss about? Why are all the environmentalists cockblocking all these great ideas for sustainability of our growing human population?
